You've come across this place-holder page .... not sure what I'm going to do with johnsilvey.net just yet.  For the moment, it's just a stepping stone to my active websites.

My real job "was" working as a chip designer at Freescale Semiconductor - that has come to an end with Freescale's decision to exit the cell phone semiconductor biz'ness ...  Whenever I can, I play photographer.  My thing is sports photography, particularly High School football.  I'm chasing two goals  - the ultimate action shot and justification and/or revenue for the best photo gear I can acquire ... within various constraints.
