You've come across this place-holder page .... not sure what I'm going to do with johnsilvey.net and johnsilvey.com just yet.  For the moment, it's just a stepping stone to my active websites and galleries of some of my favorite photos.

My real job is working as a chip designer at Freescale Semiconductor  ...  Sometimes, I play photographer.  My thing "was" sports photography, particularly High School football, but ... after 8 long years of that, I've decided to give that a rest..

If you're interested in photo coverage of an event, a product shoot, a portrait shoot, etc., give me a call.  I shoot with professional quality gear and specialize in ambient/low-light action photography (sports, wildlife, band gigs, no-flash-allowed indoor events, etc).  You can reach me at (512) 439-9013.

The school/sports websites are at the bottom of the page and are out of date - haven't shot pics for 2 seasons now.   One site dedicated to James Bowie High School, where my kids attended, and the other dedicated to Anderson High School, with whom a close relationship has developed over the years and produced many new friends.
